Samuel Guzman Jr. was charged with one count of trafficking fentanyl (100+ grams) and possession of ammunition without a Firearms Identification Card, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said. Guzman pleaded not guilty to the charges, and a judge ordered him held on a $100,000 bail.
Along with the drugs and ammo, police said they seized $3,762 that is pending forfeiture at the 11 Lawrence St. apartment.
